Shadows (gradients) don't render or render inapproprately #51

These are the steps that will reproduce the problem:
1. See the attached file in your browser or in your editor.
It's perfectly rendered (ok, it's a poor graphic, doesn't matter).
2. See how it's rendered by the SVG Parser.
You'll see a line crossing the surface.

The expected output is the svg rendered with gradients (which could be used for
shadows or reflections) where they are supposed to be. What I see is: in the
best case the gradients will be skipped, in the worst case you'll see artifacts.

I'm using use notepad and Inkscape (just to fix some issues, then re-edit in
notepad to remove all the bloats Inkscape introduces), on Windows 7/64 bit.

I've also tried with simpler SVGs: they showed correctly in
browser/editor, but were rendered with a black ring instead of
the shadow.

It's not a trivial question: I think that nowadays modern UIs HAVE TO show some
Shadows/reflections or some other coloring effect.

Thank you
