Set date variable #14

So it can be used to compile the template.

The second commit fixes the file's formatting to match the rust linter.

The test suite is still failing because md2tex 0.1.4 hasn't been release yet 😢

I would like to see this merged in. It should have been part of https://github.com/lbeckman314/mdbook-latex/pull/8, but I had failed to add that.

I suppose this will never go in 🤷
