[REQUEST] Support docking to side of monitor #85

Before opening a feature request

What is the user problem or growth opportunity you want to see solved?

Themes which work like a sidebar could draw next to windows instead of on top.

How do you know that this problem exists today? Why is this important?

I have a rofi config which makes rofi show up as a sidebar on the right. This works well enough under Wayland, but I think it'd be far cooler if it would dock to the edge of the screen similar to how a bar might.

Who will benefit from it?

People who use screens which are positioned on the edge of the screen.

Rofi version (rofi -v)

Version: 1.7.5+wayland2-1-gff2338c3 (makepkg)

Configuration

https://git.mzte.de/LordMZTE/dotfiles/src/branch/master/.config/rofi/config.rasi.cgt (this is a template file, might be a bit confusing)

Additional information

sceenshot As we can see here, rofi covers up the terminal window underneath. It'd be neat if it would instead "move it to the side" here, which the compositor (Hyprland) would do if rofi docked to the side here.
