My LBRY desktop client has just upgraded itself. Looking at the network traffic, it seems it downloaded the new software from Github.
But would it not be cooler if LBRY was used for software distribution?

I would love to see LBRY taking over the role that FTP-mirrors currently serve, and what better way to start than to use LBRY to upgrade the LBRY desktop software.
It's the right call and a good idea, but tough to prioritize atm
