Faster playback rate? #7312

I love using 3x playback speed on NewPipe. It's a great way to get through content that -you only want the gist of -you only want to find the nuggets in -you're not sure you want to watch, and just want to scout

And plus, you can speed through enough self-help content to quit therapy and become a guru in record time! Haha jk

Would a PR to add 2.5, 3.0, and 3.5 to the existing playback speed options be well received? If that feels like too much, what if it were only added if you turn it on in the advanced settings?

I concur. I use Video Speed Controller in my browsers (I like its 0.1x increments from the keyboard). I end up watching most videos around 2.5x and some low density or mostly visual videos around 3x. I used to watch the people building stuff in the woods videos at 4x. Having the 2x max has been good enough, but I really miss the higher speeds.
