R 3.6.3 with velox package #76

Hello Lorenzo,

I'm trying to install the sprawl, which requires the velox package, however it looks like this package were stranded and has no updates. Any suggestions about How can I use sprawl with R 3.6.3?

Hi, Please consider that sprawl is more or less an abandoned project, at the moment. I would not recommend its use. I should probably make it private until i have the time to work on it again.

Hi! I too wanted to use sprawl, but was faced with the compatibility issue of velox on R 3.6.3. However, it is possible to use the binaries to install velox available from: https://cran.r-project.org/src/contrib/Archive/velox/ This would allow you to install sprawl subsequently!

Edit: I used the following versions of dependencies rgdal 1.4.2 velox 0.2.0 RTools35
