Title/Menu screens not visible on POD Speedzone and Speed Devils #280

A black screen is shown instead of the title and menu screens in POD Speedzone 
and Speed Devils. Jabbing buttons will give you sound effects and eventually 
start a race so you know the menu is working, but you have no control over your 
options so can't play the games properly.

Loading screens, FMV and in-game works fine.
Only Speed Devils is affected, not Speed Devils Online.

Tested on r78, NTSC-U versions.

Looking at it.

Will have to to trace why it ends up looking so wrong and this will take a 
while.

hello,

I have the same issues with speed devils as mentioned here above (black screen 
on in game menu after intro mobie), and was wondering if the problem is solved 
or not. if solved can anyone post the solution or send me an e-mail?

Hey, I still didn't find the solution but the problem is solved when playing 
with demul0.5,7! But then i got anorher issue, the same as issue 252, black 
headlights etc... Somebody got an answer to that?
