What steps will reproduce the problem?

Run Shenmue PAL version and wait for the intro.

What version of the product are you using? What build? What plugins?

I use version: 1.0.4 r86

My system specifications are as follows:

Operating System: Windows XP SP3
CPU: AMD Athlon II x4 640
Video Card: internal ATI Radeon HD 4250
Sound Card: Creative X-Fi Gamer
Memory: 2GB DDR3 PC2-10600 1333 mhz

Additional related hardware and/or software: Jun 2010 update of DirectX 9

Please provide any additional information below:
NullDC 1.0.3 don't have this issue. Attached pic with console window information right before the crash.

The new ImgReader plugin of r72 / r73 (I use a cdi image) is responsable for
the crash...if you use the ImgReader plugin of r71 in r86 the intro doesn't
crash...

For intro I intend the sequence where the Hawk is flying...

Hatarumo: Yeah, the sequence with hawk. I'll try that workaround.

drkIIRaziel: Cool, waiting for new revision.

Looks like it fixed in r101. Intro working here without problems now, thanks! Now only remains save\load issue, disk swapping issue and few minor bugs. :)

Actually, this is not fixed -- its worked around. I think this should remain
open/merged into a new bug report ?

Then open and merge to the desired issue?
