Add a license and a PKGBUILD #13

Hi. Thank you for this nice script. I have two related questions:

  1. What is the license of this script? can it be distributed freely? The license could be added to setup.py
  2. Rather ironically, it is not on pypi and it misses a PKGBUILD.

If 1 is cleared then 2 is very simple to solve. I could do it if you agree.

Hi there,

I very much share your concern about this issue. (Also being somebody, who stumbled upon this.) This is an extremely useful tool and I hope, its author is still reachable. Especially since it would be a shame to leave this unlicensed in the wild.

However, at the end of this thread s/he apparently agreed to have this included in pkgtools, which has not happened so far, but could be interpreted as sort of releasing this under its license (GPLv2). I am not a lawyer though.

Hey, I'm super sorry for not responding. GPLv2. The reason it's not on pypi is because I didn't feel it was of a quality where it was suitable for release, and I didn't feel happy that I would have the time to maintain it.

Umm, I could fork it and continue the pip2arch, if you agree, but plesae add a License file to the repo root and close the issue then.
