In marc2bibframe v2.4, MARC records that encompass multiple resources through the use of multiple 007/300 fields and/or $3 data in 3XX fields are split into discrete MARC records. The marc2bibframe program will then create a single work with an instance for each resource. The MARC records created from this split process will be very small and will not contain all of the description information in the original MARC record.

To differentiate these newly-created Instances (and to facilitate placing them into a single MARC during the bibframe2marc process), a new rdf:type is needed.

New class: SecondaryInstance Subclass of: Instance

Definition: Type of Instance created from a MARC record that was split apart from a multi-resource MARC record per the instructions in Preprocess 0. Only created by the marc2bibframe conversion programs.
