IFLA LRM and RDA now include the Nomen entity to support contextual statements about the name(s) used to identify a resource.
This entity is also a feature of CIDOC-CRM and the Linked Art implementation of that model. In Linked Art, a resource can given a label (rdfs:label), but is also identified_by a Name. The Name resource has content (equivalent to the LRM "nomen string") and can be the subject of additional statements (for example, language). See https://linked.art/model/base/#names-and-identifiers-for-a-resource for an example.
