Inventory information #16

Open ori229 opened 7 years ago

ori229 commented 7 years ago

From a quick look at the XSL files it seems that bf:hasItem is created from a number of MARC fields: 050,060, 541,561, 852 etc. How will inventory information (Holdings record and Physical Items) make it into the BIBFRAME output? You’ll specify a place in the MARC where we should place inventory information? Or you expect post processing to be done?

Thanks, Ori Alma Development Team Leader, ExLibris

Ori, in BF1, I was using the SRU opacxml output, to grab holdings data. Alternatively, we accepted holdings MARC data interleaved in a marc:collection. I suspect either way will need to be supported, and since metaproxy includes the opacxml output, we'll probably start there. Nate
