1 year ago The mpd widget doesn't show up in the center of the top bar, though it does show up in the theme code. It also shows up as a notification when a song plays.
It doesn't show up when no song is currently playing. When it does, it is displayed on the left side of the top bar. You can change both behaviors in the code.
My keyboard has function key shortcuts for sound, displays, brightness, etc. They do nothing when I use awesomeWM, is there a way to enable them?
Yes, add key bindings.
Last thing; the GTK top bar still shows with the awesomeWM bar above it, is there a way to remove the GTK styling, or are there some similar programs to use instead of the defaults.
Awesome does not manage GTK themes. For that, I use lxappearance.
