For example, see this question:
The start of the clue is good (people can deduce that this is Uplands).
However, when you walk over to Uplands, I'm not sure... is the answer to when the house was built visible?
This question works if there is a plaque of some sort showing the year the house was built.
If not, the question could be re-worded, to something like: "How many windows in this house face the Grove?" When people arrive at the House, they could then count the windows and enter the answer.
Some questions have locations where the answer is not obvious when you arrive at that location, or for which grammar or spelling could be improved.
For example – one of the exemplar questions was:
"He guided the flock at LCS for many years – what is the name of the house he lives in?"
Some people may immediately make the connection – "It's Mr. Runza, and he lives in Hillcot House."
However, even for those people who do not already know the name of the house Mr. Runza is in, if they know where he lives, they can walk to that location, and they will see the Hillcot House sign, and therefore find the answer.
For whomever takes this issue – please review all the questions, answers, and locations.
You can work with someone else in the class, if needed.
If there is a question, and a location, but when you get to the location, the answer is not visible – the question should be adjusted.
This is also work that we can split up and check while in class tomorrow (divide and conquer)... as we're going to try out the app by walking around campus.
