Some new variables used in the prediction of loneliness are not transitioned and instead held static. Specifically:
gcareinhh1w : cared for someone in household in last week
childless : no children
hhres : number of people in household
socyr : whether participates in social activities
Some of these sort of make sense (childless, unlikely that people have more children after age 50? Not impossible but should ask Nik for his opinion here. Others don't (carer, social activites, num people in household(?)). So I need to fit transition models to these and see how that goes.
