This is the repository for the English version of the Future Elderly Model, originally developed at the Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Microsimulation.
ELSA_repl.dta is re-weighted using education_data.dta, which is produced from census data.
ELSA_repl only reweights populations born from 1963 to 2009, need to make sure any people born outside this range are being re-weighted correctly, if they even exist in ELSA_repl.
Potential solutions if there is a problem:
[ ] Add another loop for re-weighting any simulants outside this range
[ ] Extend the current re-weighting dataset by copying the last value for any years after
