This is the repository for the English version of the Future Elderly Model, originally developed at the Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Microsimulation.
Both cross validation scenarios are now running as part of the normal workflow of the project, relying on suffix and keyword variables in the Makefile.
We now need to do some testing to make sure both scenarios are working properly. We need to check that the differences for both scenarios are working, and that is being seen downstream in the outputs.
[x] CV1 using half and half populations still
[x] CV2 using only waves 1-4 for transitions, and wave 5 for simulation start
[x] CV2 only running 2010 - 2016
[x] Visualise chronic disease prevalences (and death rates and stuff like that) for CV2 going from wave 1 (ELSA) - wave 8 (simulation output)
If we've got it right (and the model works well), we shouldn't see any crazy jumps from 2008 - 2010
