This is the repository for the English version of the Future Elderly Model, originally developed at the Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Microsimulation.
Lots of changes to the way alcohol and smoking are tracked in the model, along with the 50p minimum unit price of alcohol intervention using information from the NIHR report.
Also took the opportunity to clean up variables that are no longer tracked (like smkint which has been replaced long ago) and remove mentions of 'core', which is no longer just the core version of the model and additional things also.
