Problems like this are really hard to debug with only one report so far.
I'll try to see if there's something you can do to get more information so we
can narrow it down.
Off hand, have you tried reinstalling chrome? Are your other extensions fine?
Was it after a chrome update?

It seems that I have resolved this problem. On a hunch, remembering
that it started at about the same time as this month's Windows patch
was applied, I thought I should reboot the computer. After rebooting,
Rikaikun now works. I have no idea why this worked, but I am happy it
was this easy to fix.

I have also been having the same issue for the past week. I rarely restart my
computer but I will now to see if that fixes rikaichan. Thanks.
