to do: install icepack #2

The first major to do item is to instal the open-source python-based ice flow model, Icepack, following the instruction here: https://icepack.github.io/install/

There are various issues that people have come up against in trying to install icepack, including incompatibility with conda.

But let's each try it out and see where we get,

@hoffmaao may need to help us out with this, as he has had success at this before.

We have made progress on this.

I have installed it on ubuntu and on mac.

@Templar129, @novoland095, have you both got it installed? I will close this issue if so.
