Sign videos & translations do not match #1

Dear researchers,

A number of your sign videos are mapped wrongly, ranging from sign ID HKSLLEX-2023-00003601 to HKSLLEX-2023-00003729 (HKSLLEX-2023-00003730 to HKSLLEX-2023-00003739 are yet to be uploaded but I suspect they will be the same case). For example, sign ID HKSLLEX-2023-00003729 which is annotated as "Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao Bridge" is actually the sign of "Shun Tin Estate" (HKSLLEX-2023-00003739).

Hi there!

Thanks for the great work! The lexicon is very helpful to me as a longtime HKSL learner.

Following @laughzo2laughright 's comment, I believe the mapping error also encompasses HKSLLEX-2023-00003551 to HKSLLEX-2023-00003600 in addition to the range specified above. 3550 and before are mapped correctly.

The mapping error is the same, where the correct annotation has an ID value of 10 more than the original annotation. So HKSLLEX-2023-00003551 光陰似箭 >> HKSLLEX-2023-00003561 搞垮 HKSLLEX-2023-00003561 搞垮 >> HKSLLEX-2023-00003571 兩件事 and so on.

This also means that 3551 光陰似箭 to 3559 同歸於盡 have no correct accompanying image files as of yet.

An update: the mismatched signs are currently set to "under review" to avoid confusion, meaning the data files do not have a reference to the video files.

The mismatched signs were all captured on 28 June 2024. Part of them, i.e. the place names, have been fixed. The pure signs are being re-matched one by one rather than simply renumbering the mismatched entries by adding 10 en mass, as their records in the backstage overlap with those of the place names. Because of this, I cannot push an update until the pure signs from 28 June are all re-matched.
