Usually the entries on a feed have a link to an online version of the same content, but in the case of Kill the Newsletter! the content comes from an email, so an online version may not even exist. Fortunately the link is optional according to the Atom specification. Unfortunately some consumers of feeds aren’t happy when they can’t find a link. It seems like ifttt.com is one of these consumers.
Sorry.
Oh, okay, I also verified, that this feed is valid (well, it has some warnings, but valid).
I also see, that ifttt.com is not caring about their say pedantry.
Strange CR then, please forgive me :) Would it be possible to fake a url link to e.g. example.com and make ifttt.com (and ifttt.com users including me) happy? Maybe activated with a get parameter?
Hmmm, okay. I just deployed a new version. From now on, new entries will include a link to https://www.kill-the-newsletter.com/entry. Let me know if that works for you.
Thanks, works like a charm!
I tried to create a trigger to my feed and got an error complaining about the feed:
It direct me to: https://help.ifttt.com/hc/en-us/articles/115010396768-My-RSS-feed-is-not-working-correctly
