Improved the AppSettings API's usability. This pull request fixes the merge conflict in the previous one.

You can add/change commits to a pull request on Github without closing an opening a new one btw, just push more commits to the branch the pull request references.

Doing some updates to the site at the moment, will check this out in a little bit.

Thanks for the info. I was trying to figure out how to update a pull request but the answer was so simple... I'll keep that in mind the next time.
