Translator field not in pull down option when entering/editing "Books" #66

@cathanach Can you say more here? I logged in to the admin, and notice there is a Translators field when adding a book, with a select menu populated with names. It's showing up for me after Editors, and before Citation.

Yo Jerm - Happy New Year!

sorry as this might not make sense. but, yes, there is a trans field, but the info is not always showing up on the books. here's a little info on how i came to generate the tickets:

  1. was entering/updating Glossary entries, and Aithdioghluim dána (AD) doesn't show up as a book option. So, went to books and AD is there. Thus wondering why it's not showing up.

  2. so, in looking to update AD in the hope that it might show up, i went to enter people and on the People entry page there's no "Translator" in the menu for Custom Field.

  3. Then in going to enter a book, update it, etc. some of the names that are in various Custom Fields aren't available when updating/adding a book. For instance, Lambert McKenna, Fearghall Mac Raghnaill, etc. So, wondering how they are not showing up.

  4. In the menus for Author, etc. when entering a book, the names are the same for all fields, even though some of those names should only be for one field, e.g. Cecile O'Rahilly, who should only be Editor, yet is there as Author and Trans.

OK, cool. Made a change that should fix some of this. Dropdowns and select menus should include a lists of all relevant records. It was getting limited to 10, which is WPs default for post queries.

cool. thanks, Jerm! i just looked on one word in the Glossary that is taken from Aithdiogluim Dána, and it now mysteriously has a bunch of other books assigned to it, and yet with no content. weird. anyway, i'll look to clean this up
