Windows 7/Windows Vista - When using Stereomix and microphone together.. after a while constant stutterin on listeners side #52

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using Stereomix Together with Microphone

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want to stream, but that results in nonstop stuttering on the listeners side

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Which
type (DSP, Fraunhofer DSP, Standalone or ASIO)?
Windows 7 - 64 Bit in combination with Standalone and/or DSP

Please provide any additional information below.

I was reading in some kind of record software board that they had the same
problem,They included some "useloopback" argument in their code - It means that
you mic will be captured using same api as your speaker is captured with
...(loopback capture)

Perhaps that can help you. stuttering appears no matter which chipset, no
matter which soundcards used. testes from realtek onboard soundcards to X-FI
usb Cards. Same stuttering.

Hope that is useful for you

That would require using WASAPI in win Vista/7 - which the standard BASS
library does not do. Windows vista/7 changed audio significantly, which broke a
lot of programs. Next major release will be written on Windows 7, so, should
work out-of-the-box in 7, and probably be broken in XP and earlier.

The changes required to shoehorn WASAPI into edcast are too much. SO, it will
be a v4 release before that changes

When you say "after a while" ... is it after about 3 hours? There is a bug in
an older BASS library that triggers after about 2hrs 56minutes - (if I recall,
and it depends on sample rate of sound card)

There is an option within the config file to work around the 3 hour bug - edit
the main config file to see the option
