I also want to say that I really like your tool, install it as the first thing on a new computer/laptop. This because I always want to see if it's doing anything. 😂

Because of this, I also made one: https://github.com/KoalaBear84/HAClimateDeskband/

What I would like is to see up and download separately, it can be in a single square. But, it might look like you are already preparing for it with the new stacked option (future).

Thanks in advance! Why am I the only one to star this repository 🙈

Hi, KoalaBear

I am very glad you enjoyed it, I also cannot live without this tool anymore.

Your deskband is very cool, with those fancy icons! Congratulations, it looks very professional.

I have just commited some changes, including separated upload and download for the network counter; if you could test it yourself, let me know what you think. But I am not 100% happy with it yet, so any suggestions are welcome. 😁

Sadly, I posted about this tool the other day on the /r/sysadmin subreddit, but no one said a thing about it, I ended up deleting the post the next day.😞

Thanks. Lol, so we had exactly the same experiences.. 😅

Evidence (nada comments):

HA Climate DeskBand (Windows Taskbar) - Share your Projects! - Home Assistant Community (home-assistant.io)

HA Climate DeskBand (Windows Taskbar) : homeassistant (reddit.com)

But eventually I have at least a known user (which created the issues), and you now got one too! 🙃

Regarding the new changes:
Hmm, there always were options with right click? I didn't knew 😅. Looks like the "CPU: Multiple cores" doesn't do anything, correct?

Hmm, maybe rename RT/TX to D/U, because it's too technical, and swap them, the D on the bottom/down etc. For the disk I'm not sure what would be more logical, write up or write down. For network I used Networx (deskband), it is really 'stacked', green is download, red is upload. I think the colors won't be clear with a black/dark background.

NetWorx - Online user manual, Graph (softperfect.com)

Yes, separate scales would be nice, not sure if that is already the case for Disk. And maybe more options to hide the CPU/NET/DISK/NET labels too.

So I did some small improvements on the code, including a new installer that should do all the work, but I recommend manually uninstalling previous versions first.

I plan on allowing full customization next (colors, order, label positions, etc.). Also, saving config on a file. In the future I will try to let people add new graphs (maybe with plugins?)

Also, I built a small website at: https://lugarinho.tech/tools/taskbar-monitor

Anyway, if you upgrade it, please tell me what you think of this new version.
