Timeout error? #136

Whenever I put my phone down for two minutes and then return to the game, I get an error message (same as in issue #134). The only way to recover is to close my browser and to start a new session. Back buttons/reloading just leads to infinite loading times (longer in any case than I'm willing to wait).

I think there used to be a dedicated error message for this, or perhaps that error message only existed for the web editor. In any case, there should be a more informative error message, and the timeout happens far too quickly for my taste.

I'll close this in favour of #163 with the aim to collect the problems with mobile in a single place
