Ignore `.DS_Store` and `.ipynb_checkpoints` #12

Noticed that this repo had a .ipynb_checkpoints directory and a few .DS_Stores in it. This PR removes these extraneous files (and .gitignore's them going forward), which IMO aids to mission of polishing/formalizing this repo.
