This is a LEAP Data and Computation Team weekly standup 🎉🎉🎉! This is a way to share feedback from the past cycle, set goals for the next work cycle and coordinate work with others in the group.

Each member should aim to put down 2-3 goals going into the meeting. We then try to discuss how to best align activities around the group to facilitate collaboration as much as possible.

User Interactions/Concerns

• Spoke to Qingyuan Yang about disseminating Pangeo features; parameter estimation focus group
• I think kbatch will be very useful!

Cycle Review 🔎

• Been looking into optimizing the dask to batching workflow; posting this on #leap-pangeo and resulting response leads me to believe this is something people are interested in.
• Reworking my project dir to be smoother and more reproducible

My goals for the two upcoming weeks 💪

• [ ] Want to continue getting kbatch working, demoing it on my project to run hyper parameter testing
• [ ] Want to start knocking off the "add this to documentation" issues Questions for the group ❓ Any data ingestion tasks on my end? Did we send out a survey earlier this year? Can we see the results?
