I propose the following requirements.

1. Roadmap must be useful. Otherwise, what's the point 😅 It should help to answer these questions:

   • what's the long/medium-term development target and why? (see bigger picture, connection to biz dev and ecosystem)
   • what's the next thing could be done to bring the project closer to the target? (immediate action aka "I have time to work, what can I do now?")
   • should I really do X right now? (regain focus, abstain from doing nice-to-have things)
   • what are deadlines if any and are we on track? (sense of time and urgency)

2. Roadmap must be easy to maintain. Otherwise, it will be outdated really quick → not useful.

3. Roadmap must be succinct and to the point. Otherwise, hard to comprehend → not useful.

Scope

• figure out the medium and structure
• create a draft, present on a Tactical to get feedback, iterate
• figure out and establish a routine to keep it updated

Deliverables

• roadmap artefact publicly accessible (readonly) in a well-known place
• instructions for roadmap maintainer
• blog article
• tweet
