This addresses the problem of having fading hands correctly intersect transparent objects.

Opaque objects cause a white contact glow and occlude hands.
Transparent objects do not yield a contact glow (they do not write to the depth buffer) and they correctly intersect the hands.
The hand halo is now clipped, so background objects are drawn ONLY if they are very bright.
