I switched to Apple's adapter and the problem is solved!
My system:
After setup by following this guide, my System Information still shows "no device connected" for the 2 thunderbolt ports. Now I am wondering if it is related to my T3->T2 adapter or T2 cable.
Can you shed some lights on it? Many thanks!
