Added missing 'require spec_helper' to new user spec to fix bug #15

Also looks like atom cleaned up some whitespace, but doesn't seem to cause any issues

This is fixing a bug just reported by students. @pletcher if you could give :eyes: on this, merge and deploy when you get a chance that'd be much appreciated. Thanks!
