Dear contributors @katjaq, @r03ert0, @roopa-pai, @Remi-Gau, @IRuotsa, @martinagvilas, @complexbrains, @rutgerfick, @pbellec, @jesparent, @jdkent, @avakiai, @Lestropie, @dr-xenia, @dfsp-spirit, @DominiqueMakowski,

Thank you very much for all your contributions to this project.

I would like to stress out that this repo does not contain License file, this involves that:

If you find software that doesn’t have a license, that generally means you have no permission from the creators of the software to use, modify, or share the software. Although a code host such as GitHub may allow you to view and fork the code, this does not imply that you are permitted to use, modify, or share the software for any purpose.

Do you mind if we add License to this project? e.g. MIT License?

If you are in favour of adding license, please annotate my message with +1 emoji (or -1 if not). I am not a specialist in licensing so other suggestions of License are welcome :)

Best, Alexandre

I personally like the MIT license, but approve with whatever license choice you make.

Random thought: maybe something lile a CC-BY license would be enough, no?

Remi-Gau commented 3 years ago

The Turing way has a CC-BY for the non-code content and an MIT one for the code and infra:

Sounds good to me either way! In case you'll add both, it would probably be good to make a short note which one for what (which could be in a LICENSE.md file as in the turing way example). Ping if you need help/eyes. Otherwise all thumbs up to you :)
