Student can change their own classroom, which would mess user management system. I think IDOC might not want want open this feature to students

Students can choose their group when signing up, so allowing them to change is the right thing.

For IDOC, we have a restriction-setting. We shouldn't expose the sign-up page, nor the edit page, to users with this restriction.

I will make sure that is set, then I will close this if so. Thanks!

If CONFIG_PACKAGE="UserRestricted" is set,

No users can sign up
The "change password" button doesn't show up in their summary page
If they manually try to get to their edit page (which is challenging--url contains their id), they get an "unauthorized" error, and sent to the login page.
