It would be useful to have an extra release with this patch, but I can import it on Flathub separatedly if necessary

Whoops :facepalm:. Certainly gets my approval. @rtibbles any chance you could merge this and tag 2.3.1? You can't actually build the flatpak as is since flatpak-builder validates the release notes. I did a local build and test of the flatpak, but that was before I added the release notes.
