Thanks, yes we should welcome a translation.
The easiest way, as mentioned in the translations file, is to fork this repository, delete the CNAME file and then enable github pages.
The most complete version using a non latin script is the Marathi translation with fork and the github pages rendering at
https://github.com/NiranjanTambe/learnlatex.github.io
and
https://niranjantambe.github.io/learnlatex.github.io/mr/lesson-01
You may also be interested in the Japanese and Chinese translations that may have similar font issues.
https://github.com/CTeX-org/learnlatex.github.io
https://github.com/wtsnjp/learnlatex.github.io
The jekyll page template has some specific support for localised Marathi digits for lesson counter display, if you need something similar you should be able to add it in your fork.
The fonts for the main text are Noto web fonts checked in to this repository, I'm sorry I don't know if the current set covers everything you need, let us know if not.
Similarly at the server running tex examples, that is ubuntu linux with a complete texlive 2020 installation. So if you need additional fonts that are not in texlive but can be added by the ubuntu apt package manager let us know. Or fonts can be added by hand (Currently BabelStoneHan.ttf is installed directly in the local fonts directory)
I made sure at least one font works in examples (I hope my text is OK:-)
Hi all,
I would love to translate the content to Korean in my spare time if translations are still welcome. I'm aware of the guidelines, TRANSLATIONS.md and took a look at other issues with 'translation' tag. Would there be anything else I should know?
It may take some time for me to complete all 16 lessons, would it be a problem?
Thanks.
