We've had a few people interested in contributing recently. For some people, docker-compose or similar would be useful to simplify setup.
Another alternative would be https://devenv.sh/ - but we could provide multiple options.
Note this would be just for development setup - I've no plans to change deployment to use containers at the moment, at our scale it would not really simplify things and it would introduce overhead and extra things to debug.
