Need quick access to all columns for a given task #192

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. No

Describe the solution you'd like I need quick access to all the columns for a given task. In other task managers, I can double-click on a task and a window opens that shows all columns (fields) of that given task. In other words, VERY EASY. The only way to do this in Taskunifier is this tedious method: 1) Open Settings 2) Go to the Task table settings and take note of the exact columns I have turned on. 3) Turn on EVERY column. 4) Go back and find the task and scroll through all the columns. 5) Go back into Settings 6) Go to the Task table settings and remove all the columns I added in step 3 above.

Describe alternatives you've considered I know you've already implemented double-clicking to edit a task's column, so maybe you could add to the right-click popup a choice for opening that specific task which would give you access to all the columns.

NOTE: This is very important because strange things happen sometimes in Taskunifier (e.g. missing tasks in a filter, sorting gets wonky) and the only way to figure things out is to go look at all the columns for a task to see what effects the columns are having on my display settings.

I'm not sure to understand. Why don't you right click on the task then "Edit" to open the task edition window ? In the settings you can configure the list of fields in the table but there is also a setting for the list of fields in the edition window (task fields). You can then only show certain column in the table and show all the fields in the task edition window.

Benjamin,

Thanks so much for help with this. I completely missed the "edit" option. That gives me everything I need. Sorry for troubling you!

Steve
