master-password never accepted to re-login #6

Expected behavior

master-password stored in chrome extension app used to re-login

Actual behavior

master-password never accepted to re-login, I always need to login with private-key, then setup a new master-password

Steps to reproduce the behavior

hivesigner-ui, Signer app for Hive, Version: 0.1.7

@camenlx Thanks for your report! I just tried master password, it is working. Could you elaborate on each step or share screenshots, please?

“Works for me“ — Every developer ever.

Anyway. Here the steps:

  1. Open Hive Engine Wallet.
  2. Click Stake
  3. Choose value
  4. Click stake
  5. Click continue on useless info
  6. Get Error message: “You need to import your account using your password or active key to do this request. Click "Import account" button to proceed.”

Closing due to inactivity and cannot reproduce. @camenlx Please feel free to come back and report with more details, also make sure you are using latest versions always.
