End user risk perception #1

HI @AlexeyAkhunov , great proposal.

How do end users (i.e. layman token holders/dApp users) contend with the issue that contracts can possibly be evicted at a later date?

It seems to me that this adds a perceived risk vector and a level of complexity that would be hard to manage and communicate to that category of users.

Hi @benjaminmbrown, thank you!

First of all, proposal includes recovery of contracts (Step 4 and Step 6) after they have been evicted. Secondly, the main difference of this research and proposal from the ones done before is that we start with the estimation of how is likely to be affected by the rent regime and how. Vitalik has started a thread on eth research about classification of the current contracts and how they could cope with the rent: https://ethresear.ch/t/common-classes-of-contracts-and-how-they-would-handle-ongoing-storage-maintenance-fees-rent/4441. I will continue to refine data on what proportion of the current state different classes of contracts represent.
