For site pages, can't seem to find list at site collection root #10

The URL that pnp.sp.site.rootWeb translates to is incorrect

e.g. https://lee79trial.sharepoint.com/sites/Site13/SitePages/_api/site/rootweb/lists/getByTitle('Mega%20Menu%20-%20Level%202')/items?$orderby=SortOrder%20asc

or

https://lee79trial.sharepoint.com/sites/_api/site/rootweb/lists/getByTitle('Mega%20Menu%20-%20Level%203')/items?$orderby=SortOrder%20asc

instead of

https://lee79trial.sharepoint.com/sites/_api/sites/site13/lists/getByTitle('Mega%20Menu%20-%20Level%203')/items?$orderby=SortOrder%20asc

Works OK on View All Site Content, but pages specifically get a wacky URL.
