Possible, yes. I'm working with @acontreras89 to update a few packages to support the atom.file-icons service. If he's willing to take this one on too, it should make this change fairly easy (once I rewrite this package to support the service).

Okay, count me in. I'll just need a couple of days so I can finish integrating with find-and-replace.

This was a long time ago, but I believe fuzzy-finder was already integrated with the file icons service.
