I have a 64 bit asus laptop with windows 11 pro installed. I went to install ntvdmx64 via the columbia.edu site when I got a message when clicking on the install.bat "You appear to be running this installation on a 32bit machine. This NTVDMx64 is only meant to be used on an x64 machine. Installation aborted"
I went to system info and its a 64 bit OS on a 64 bit processor. Ryzen 5 4600H. I'm at a loss. I've installed this on another windows 11 machine with no issue, and previous windows 10 64 bit builds as well. Secure boot is disabled. But doesn't matter whether enabled or disabled I still get the above message.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I went to the Discussions tab and someone had the exact same issue as me - Windows 11 Pro 32 bit Error Message #222
I was able to solve my problem using the same method.
