I downloaded and the light is showing up in Home, but the problem I am facing is that I can not control the build. When I press the light in home the light stays at its current state.

I'm having a similar issue with the LB110. I opened a separate issue, because it's more than the lightbulb for me, it's causing HomeBridge to stop working completely (after a while my other accessories, Kevo locks, stop responding). Removing the tplink-lightbulb plugin solved my issue with the Kevo locks, so I think it has to be something with this plugin.

2 Lightbulbs become unresponsive, cause HomeBridge to stop working

Hi @treeceh86, can the bulb ever be controlled from Home? Does Home show the status changing, or just stay stuck on "On" or "Off"? Or is the light stuck on "Updating..."? If it becomes unresponsive while "Updating," the patch I published today (https://github.com/leematt/homebridge-tplink-lightbulb/commit/2704fe1996718bb10e3683ad1882e48d5a1cc1f5) might resolve your issue. If not, please provide some additional details on how it's behaving and I'll look into it. Thanks!

I've discovered an issue that could be causing the problem here. I will update when it's been patched and see if that fixes it for you.

Same issue for me too.

I’m also having this issue with the LB120 model as well.

I recommend switching to the homebridge-tplink-smarthome plugin for anyone having this issue. It now supports smart bulbs and is currently more reliable.
