Is .education eligible for Student status #1401

Is .education eligible for Student status . This is general question. I am not asking about SWOT. Will AWS and GitHub consider them as college domains ?

Then why are you opening an issue here? We are not GitHub or AWS support.

Anyone can buy a domain with the .education extension, there is no verification in place to verify who is purchasing these domains. Unlike certain TLD's such as .ac.uk which are only issued to 'valid institutions' as deemed by the registry. This means we cannot apply a 'blanket rule' to the .education TLD, but we would consider the institutions on a case by case basis.

GitHub use this repository for verification, while I am uncertain as to how AWS verifies.
