v2 Gecko: sound cuts out after extended use #2

The Gecko loses sound after extended use. To the point that once it cuts out, it needs a kill-key reset. This occurred after the new logging code was in.

Haven't repro'd since, although it may just reflect on-time test.

Considered transfer and play from flash ram, but write is way too slow.

Closing for now. Not seen on the v3 "black" design.
