any help on this? Is there a certain version of Node I need to be running? should I global install this plugin?
Global install depends on your setup. -g flag and google are always available. I haven’t touched this stuff in a long time since I abandoned HomeKit because of how awfully unreliable it is. I also don’t know what hoobs is but if it has massive breaking changes it’s unlikely I’ll fix it.

ok. Thanks for responding.
It may have broke the changes, but I got the pool controller and everything else working. I’m not a pro at this stuff, but do I’m using WGET while in my home directory to download the ZIP of your plugin and then unzipping. Do I then just cd into the homebridge-poolcontroller-master directory and then run npm install -g ?
Thanks,
Chris Flores

I have a backup from right after I upgraded to homebridge 1.10. But when I use that the plugin isn’t working still.
I have contacts at Pentair, would that help in getting this plugin rewrote? Or possibly just be able to help me get this thing working again. My uncle works at Pentair and I know they need help getting an official setup with Homekit. Not sure who on these forums would be willing to work with them.
Thanks

Hey any luck you can just tell me how to global install your plugin?
I cd into the directory where I unzipped the zip file, and I use npm install -g
Is that right?
Sorry, this has been super frustrating. And none of the other workarounds are working

I recently upgraded to 3.2.6 HOOBS and now the pool controller doesn't show up in the list of plugins.
I've tried to re-install and still nothing. Finally got the poolcontroller running on port 3000, but for some reason the plugin doesn't show up. I'm using the same platform json that I did prior to upgrading to 3.2.6, so I know that part is correct.
I'm thinking I need to install the plugin globally, but I forgot how to do that. Below is my HOOBS and Node version: HOOBS Version | 3.2.6 Node Version | 12.16.3 Application Path | /home/hoobs/.hoobs Configuration Path | /home/hoobs/.hoobs/etc Local Modules Path | /home/hoobs/.hoobs/node_modules Global Modules Path | /usr/local/lib/node_modules
