PS,. this issue originally phrased as: "Display: In the Manhattan-type plot, the the X-axis is a bit difficult to interpret. Is it possible to indicate chromosome boundaries?" courtesy of @cann0010 and @maxglycine
Moved to mine-issues
current manhattan displayer is difficult to interpret wrt which chromosome the associated markers are on; also the positional info displayed in the popup is hard to interpret, due to the fact that we've lightly adapted a scatterplot view to serve the purpose. Probably switching to some other displayer altogether would be best, but I don't know enough about the implementation details to make such an assertion. At any rate, we should probably do some more thoughtful collecting of requirements before jumping onto a new bandwagon or trying to fix up the old one. Ideally we could repurpose one of our other GWAS displayers but that might be technically challenging. Probably a good candidate for bluegenes-compatibility?
