Update events (and ther cards) to display message when there's nothing to display #89

For example, the events card should say something like "There's no upcoming events".

This functionality was added to cards in commit d388cf9e07afdcf1b1829699fe0dd73815f37024 and to the landing pages in commit 8b7538672785c2d4a4883014f6f7c6435717e96e.
